How far ahead should we reserve a weekend?
As early as you can. We hold only a few of these residencies a year because dedicating Amanda and a senior team to one long weekend means turning down other weddings. The sooner we have your date, the better the chance it’s still open.
What if our date is already taken?
Then we’ll tell you honestly, and quickly. If you’d like, we can introduce you to the senior Updo’s team who travel for weddings closer to home, or hold your inquiry for a future season. A no on one weekend is never a no from us.
What does the price include, and what about travel?
Your price covers everything we do: Amanda, your dedicated senior team, the design and the preview, and every look across your celebration, with nothing beauty-related left for you to manage. The one thing it does not include is your team’s travel and their stay. They travel to you and stay where you’re staying, arranged alongside your own travel and accommodations, so they are on-site and with you from the first event to the last. We never mark it up and never send you a travel invoice.
Can our bridal party be part of it?
Your whole party can be part of it. You decide whether the team stays focused on you alone or cares for your circle too; for a larger party we add senior support and quote it simply, so it stays seamless either way.
Where will you travel?
Anywhere you’re marrying. Domestically: a vineyard, a lodge, a coastline. Or abroad: the Amalfi Coast, Provence, an island in the Caribbean. If a wedding can be reached, we can reach it.
