Updo’s Studio LLC (“Updo’s Studio,” “Updo’s,” “we,” “us”) is an on-site wedding hair and makeup company based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We respect your privacy and collect only the information we need to answer your inquiry, plan your wedding services, and run our website well.

We collect information you choose to give us, and a small amount of technical information that helps the site function.

We use your information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, plan and deliver your wedding-day services, process payments, communicate with you about your booking, and improve our website and services.

We may occasionally send you updates relevant to your booking. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not send marketing you didn’t ask for. We do use advertising and measurement tools that may “share” limited activity data for targeted advertising as some state laws define it. With your permission, we may photograph our work and feature it in our portfolio, on social media, and in marketing. We will never use identifying images in a way you have asked us not to. Your image-use preferences are recorded in your service agreement, and you may update them at any time by contacting us.

We share information only as needed to operate, and never sell it.

We use analytics and, where enabled, advertising measurement tools to understand how people find and use our website, improve our services, and measure marketing performance. Depending on the features you use, this may include pages and content viewed; link, form and booking interactions; completed inquiries, registrations and purchases; referral and campaign information; and technical information such as browser, device, approximate location and cookie identifiers. These tools may use cookies, pixels or server connections. The providers and privacy choices that apply to this site are described below.

This website currently uses Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. They receive website activity and technical information to measure visits, inquiry progress, completed inquiries and advertising performance. Contact-link clicks show intent, not a connected call or delivered email. An inquiry is not a confirmed booking or booked revenue.

Cloudflare provides hosting and website performance measurement separately from Google Analytics and Meta. Our website’s Google and Meta privacy choices do not automatically control Cloudflare’s hosting or performance measurement.

Server-side Meta matching is not currently enabled on this website. Where enabled, this feature may send hashed email, phone and first and last names, together with IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers, to help Meta match an inquiry to advertising activity. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Our custom measurement events do not copy free-form inquiry messages.

Because we serve U.S. clients, we operate on an opt-out basis: these analytics and advertising tools load by default. The “Your Privacy Choices” control in our website footer saves an opt-out in your browser when storage is available and reloads the page to apply it. We also keep this website’s Google Analytics and Meta Pixel off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track. These choices also suppress server-side Meta matching where enabled. A different browser or cleared browser storage requires a new saved choice.

You can also manage cookies through your browser or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info). Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site work. Our website control does not automatically change privacy settings on independently hosted booking or payment services; their own choices and policies apply.

We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, then dispose of it securely. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of non-essential communications at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California also gives you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Because we use advertising and measurement cookies (such as the Meta Pixel), some activity data may be considered “shared” for targeted advertising under California law. You can opt out of this “sharing” using the “Your Privacy Choices” control in our website footer (our Do Not Sell or Share opt-out), or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor automatically.
