OUR STORY

A dream of doing it
right, on location.

In 2000, Amanda Wazlavek and her business partner Heather Still shared a single idea: that a bride should be able to have quality hair and makeup come to her, done beautifully, on location, on the morning that mattered most.

Through much hard work and many long hours, they made that dream real. Heather has since moved on to other chapters, but the studio she helped found is still thriving, led today by Amanda as sole owner, with a team of 13 artists carrying the same standard into every wedding morning.

Twenty-six years on, Updo’s Studio has completed more than three thousand weddings across the country, captured in our bridal hair & makeup portfolio. The dream hasn’t changed. We’ve just gotten very, very good at it.
